Mark brings over 30 years of experience in the information technology industry as an owner, senior executive, sales executive, investor and advisor to leading software and IT services companies. He has helped business owners and CEOs with exit planning, strategic visioning, go-to-market strategies, mergers and acquisitions, and technology transfer. Mark was a management consultant and principal with PRTM’s sales and marketing effectiveness practice, where he worked with Fortune 1000 companies to design corporate vision and strategies that improve customer-facing operations. He also helped build and launch PRTM’s Private Equity practice, where he worked with PE firms to perform pre-deal due diligence and post-deal operational improvements.
He invested in and operated ISC, a SAP implementation firm, where he implemented an aggressive growth initiative that resulted in the doubling of the business within 18 months. He orchestrated a highly successful sale of ISC to a NYSE firm and secured one of the highest valuations received for an IT service company. Previous to ISC, Mark was a top performing global account executive at several leading technology companies including SAP America Inc. He also founded The Alesco Group. Under his guidance Alesco became a respected growth advisor to small and mid-market technology firms. Mark is a board member at a select number of technology firms. He is also involved with 2 local nonprofit organizations.
Mark has a BBA and MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business and attended the Executive Education Program, University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business.
